Esqueleto Explosivo

Esqueleto Explosivo is a Mexican Day of the Dead themed online slot by Thunderkick. The 5x3 grid is set in a cemetery during the celebrations of this famous festival. But strangely enough, there is no audience gathering around to listen to the mariachi band. This might have something to do with the fact that the musicians are highly skeletal. And they can't seem to decide which skull belongs to who. 

The symbols on the reels are five different coloured skulls that fall down onto the skeletons at the bottom of the grid. They obviously belonged to people from different layers of society, from a big-boned peasant with a missing tooth to a moustachioed Don who died with a rose between his teeth. They are worth from 0.20 to 0.50 for three of a kind, up to between 0.70 and 2.50 for five. The betting range starts at 0.10 and goes all the way up to 100.00.

The main and only feature symbol in the game is the Explosivo Wild symbol. This is obviously the remains of some dead rocker, and he's still sporting the shades and the hairstyle. He'll help form wins by standing in for all the other skulls. But once these have been calculated, he'll lend a hand in trying to form more wins, as I'll explain below. 

Although there is no Scatter, and so no Free Spins, the win potential of the game, and the fun, are not affected, thanks to the other features. 

The first is what Thunderkick calls Dropping Symbols. This is basically the cascading reels feature, where all the winning symbols are removed from the reels, and the remaining symbols and new ones tumble down to fill the empty spaces. If a new winning combo is formed, this chain reaction happens again, and only ends when no new wins are formed.  

These Dropping Symbols also play a part in the Mucho Multiplier. Every time Dropping Symbols form a win, the win multiplier doubles, so six consecutive wins will award the lucky player with a win multiplier of x 32! 

And finally, there is the rockin’ Explosivo Wild. Every time he lands, he explodes, as the name suggests. But in doing so, he takes out the eight symbols around him. New ones drop in to take their place, giving the player another chance at forming a win.
