Cashback Blackjack

Playtech is continuing their tradition of taking classic casino games and making them even better! This time they've taken one of the most popular casino card games around, mixed in a few sidebets and produced a great new game: Cashback Blackjack!

And the great thing about this game, me foxy friends, is that it isn't just a regular game of blackjack with a few random sidebets that depend entirely on chance thrown in. Although it does have those as well, Playtech have tweaked the rules so that the main feature, the Cashback option, gives players a chance to improve their odds with a bit of skill and judgement. Sound interesting? Well read on, me furry friends, and I'll tell you all about it.

The first thing me blackjack-lovin' fans have to do is set their bet level, of course. For the main game, stakes can be between 1.00 and 500.00, and that increases to 5000 for the bonus bets. 

Once the bets are in, the game is played like a standard game of blackjack. The dealer deals the cards from a 6-pack deck, and the usual rules apply; dealer stands on soft 17, players can split their hand, including Aces, but not resplit, and doubling after splitting is allowed. 

As always, the aim of the game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without busting. This gives a prize of 1:1, or 3:2 for a natural Blackjack (Ace and ten on the first deal). But there's a lot more to this game, as you'll see below.

First up, players have the chance to place two popular sidebets here, the 21+3 sidebet, and the Perfect Pairs bet, where players can bet on their first two cards, forming one of several possible pairs. These bets can add a little spice to the game, and they give a nice prize if the player wins. But they depend entirely on chance and are longshots. So if you want to try to get your paws on some prizes from these, you should keep the stakes lower than your bet for the main game. 

The main feature of the game, however, the Cashback option, is where a bit of skill comes in. After the first two cards are dealt, and at each stage of the game, the player has the option of abandoning their hand. In return, they’ll receive between 50% and 75% of their stake back. So as long as the player has the skill and experience to recognise when the odds are against them, they can minimise their losses by quite a bit. 

Blackjack is famous not just because it's a fast-paced, exciting game, but because skill and strategy can lower the odds against the player significantly. And now the Cashback features lowers them even further! Just remember, the casino still has the edge, especially on the sidebets, so always set a loss limit for any session. Good Luck
