How To Play Live Blackjack
• Cards 2-10 have a value that equates to their face
• All face cards from Jack to King are all valued at 10
• Ace is a card that can be valued at either 1 or 11. If you are dealt a 2 and an Ace then your card will automatically be valued at 11 so you have 13. However if you twist and get a 10 on top of the 13 then your Ace value will automatically go to 1 so you are not bust.
• If anytime your card value exceeds 21then you are “Bust” and forfeit the hand
TERMINOLOGY
• Hit= This is a basic player option where you request an additional card from the dealer to increase your hand value
• Stand=This is the opposite to a hit where the player will waive their right to an additional card and they want to stick with the cards they already poses.
• Split= In order to be eligible to split the deck you must have two of the same card (10x2 or 5x2 ect). When a player splits they create two separate hands and double the potential winnings.
• Double Down= Double your initial be in exchange for only one extra card from the dealer. One you have done this you can’t make this play again.
• Insurance= I the dealer manages to produce an Ace on their first card then you can have an insurance bet. This is the player betting that the dealer is going to get a 10 or equivalent on their next card giving them an automatic Blackjckpot.
